Pinoy in Paris - My Unforgettable visits to the Musée du Louvre

It is always a joy to visit the Louvre. My first two visits to the museum were quick and rushed. I did learn my lesson so on my third visit to Paris, I set aside one day just for the Louvre. It was such a wonderful experience! 

Let me show you a glimpse of what it is like inside and some select art works at the museum.

Pinoy in Paris - Back to the City of Lights on a long weekend holiday

I was back in Paris during a long weekend while I was in London on a business trip. However short my stay in the City of Lights may have been, it was all worth it. 

It was a memorable trip comprising of long city walks and immersive art experience.

Balitang Paris (March 2006)

I have never been to Paris on a cold winter month. It was on a summer when I visited the City of Lights for the first time and I remember it was hot, muggy, bustling and chaotic. The scene is the exact opposite this time of the year, tranquil, which makes the sirens from the city streets seem irritatingly loud. The trees are bare, the air frosty and everyone dressed in layers and mostly in black. The temperature is nearing 0 degree celsius which probably matches the Parisians' attitude toward outsiders in general (of course I'm only joking!).
