Breakfast in La Union - Stop over in San Fernando City

Two days after I landed in Manila, my family and I went on a road trip to the northern part of the Luzon island. 

We stopped to get a quick breakfast in San Fernando City in the province of La Union. Afterward, I took a quick look of the town plaza. 

Back in Chicago - Rediscovering the city and its sites

I was back in Chicago for a meet up with several of my highschoold friends who now call North America their home.

I also took this chance to checkout some of my favorite landmarks which I was seeing for the second time and a few I have not seen before. I heart Chicago.

Back in California's Central Coast - A relaxing weekend in Santa Barbara

We took Friday off, packed some clothes for the weekend, our sunglasses and off we went driving down south to Santa Barbara. 

As always, it was a delight to the senses to be in Santa Barbara.

Our friends B&B inherited a lake house in Maine and we got an invite from them to check it out. Mijo and I didn't waste any time and booked a roundtrip ticket for two to Portland, Maine.

La Dolce Vita in Liguria - My memorable travels to Cinque Terre

It wasn't in our original plan to go to Cinque Terre. I am glad we ended up going to Cinque Terre because the five towns of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore are absolutely stunning.

Our trip to Cinque Terre was relaxing at the same time a feast to the senses. This Filipino guy was in travel heaven!

La Dolce Vita in Lombardy - My memorable travels to Milan, Lake Como and Bellagio

In Milan, Mijo and I saw Da Vinci's Last Supper and we were in awe. For me, it is one of the must-see masterpieces.

Milan also has more to offer like beautiful churches, grand shopping arcades and more masterpieces. I enjoyed our stay in Milan!

La Dolce Vita in Veneto - My memorable travels in Venice

Venice is just like how I had imagined it upclose. Charming, beautiful, decadent, old world. I have never seen anything like it. 

Mijo and I absolutely enjoyed this trip. Venice is truly La Serenissima!

Life is a Beach - Back in Oahu

Aloha! It has been years since I first traveled to the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Twelve years to be exact. 

So when Mijo suggested we go to Hawaii to get away from the cold winter weather, I said yes right away. Life is a beach in Oahu!
